WHO DO YOU THINK YOU ARE?

WHY WE GO TO WORK OUR FIRST POST!

WELCOME TO OUR BLOG

The advent of the Internet is not new but frankly most business owners are immigrants to the technical age and fabricators of windows, doors and rooflights are in general entrenched in a business model from a previous century.

This model worked well decades ago, the marketing was often undertaken by salespeople knocking on doors offering a no obligation free quotation, either the same person or another self employed agent would arrive and have the opposite objective to the homeowner.

You might ask---What do you mean by the opposite objective to a homeowner?

The homeowner wants to have what was promised-- a no obligation price, they want all the information as fast as possible, then be allowed to shop around for a best quote and pay as little as possible whenever the homeowner decides to proceed

In reality as you might know already if you ever tried to get a quote, A sales representative is usually on commission only, taking between 5% to 20% of the price paid as their own income. This creates pressure between the buyer & seller, the seller creates obligation through seven stages of psychology,- 1. Make friends 2. Long product demonstration to make the product sound as though it should be on a NASA mission to Planet Mars 3. An exuberant survey 4. Make friends again (we all like to buy from a friend) 5. The fear of god is put into the homeowner about what could happen with a competitors (thoroughly equal product) service 6. After around 2 hours we get the price combined with the homeowner saying no and the salesperson badgering for a yes until the homeowner gives way by crumbling to a yes 7. The Close is followed by an hour of small print - finance at eye wateringly high rates, signing up and some more fake friendship to stop the order from being cancelled when the buyer works out they had a raw deal. It is emotionally harder to stop an order you made with a friend!

The above is a raw deal for the consumer, often combined with dodgy deals and the sales rep sometimes gets half of any overpricing!! Our theory is that being pushed at high prices is so left in the last century and buyers should be respected more.

I hope you see our business flourish as an online vendor, we look at a product saying not how much but how little can sell it for, we look for the very best and try to sell as low as we can. The prices are low as the directors personally own the business premises so we are not held back by costly rentals, the staff are mainly family and family staff is the last bastion of low cost staff.

We save all the orders and place these in bulk weekly to make suppliers excited to deal with us and I hope you agree we do what we say we will do at the best prices available.

WHICH MAGAZINE REPORTED

We recently heard from a customer who’d got the big companies in to quote for his double glazing job – they knocked thousands off their initial prices. But their final quotes were still far more than he ended up paying to a small company that was recommended to him..

THE BEST PRICE DEAL

We like to start with the prices, give you all the specification, supply only product as you can shop about for a trusted tradesman to give you the best installation price, and even without glass as you can shop around online or on Yell for local double or triple glazed sealed units at the very best price without a middleman

YOU TO KNOW THE PRICE IN MINUTES

Clear pricing is our method

YOU WANT TO HAVE TIME TO MAKE YOUR MIND UP
